TO GROWING AND LEARNING

Hello Fellow.

First things first. I have a quick one. Who else during practice, say internship or attachment ever got harassed by other workmates because of not knowing all the brand names? I mean, are you familiar with the statements like,

(These young people with titles know nothing, just head knowledge!!!).😳

Why do slightly older people with more experience feel like younger more educated doctors have nothing to offer because they are not so conversant with brand names.? I feel like that’s so wierd.

NB: Dear young pharmacist/intern/student……Please don’t feel intimidated for not knowing all the brand names in this world. Rome wasn’t built in a day and so wont you!.

How about focus on growing and learning something new daily?.☺️This would be better and healthier. Say no to pressure and focus on being your best version.

Have you also attended a ward round as a student with no clue of what is going on?.I once did my attachment at KNH and decided to pop into one of the morning sessions. Let me tell you, the only question I could answer is what causes Gray Baby Syndrome. It was hectic and challenging, but it helped me grow too fast.

These are just but a few chronicles of my short span in the Pharma world, other than patients asking for antibiotics for a cold.🙄. Worst thing ever. Never fall for it.🗣️🗣️.We are trying to save a generation here..

Yours Truly.

Dr. Cholinergic.
